My camera took it's last capture this afternoon! :( The shutter stuck a couple of weeks back but i managed to get it going again, i don't think i'll be so lucky this time! :( Obviously i'll be quiet on the upload front for the near future but i'll still be around doing other things!

I am going to be away for a few days.

A friend recently told me about a website that i thought would help a few of you out!

"TinEye is a reverse image search engine. You can submit an image to TinEye to find out where it came from, how it is being used, if modified versions of the image exist, or to find higher resolution versions. TinEye is the first image search engine on the web to use image identification technology rather than keywords, metadata or watermarks."

Digital Photographer of the Year 2009

Last year i decided to enter one of my macro images for a competition.

I hadn't heard anything so i assumed that nothing had come of it. Then yesterday I decided to check the website, to see who won overall and in the respective categories. Much to my surprise i found out that i came runner up in the macro category!

Congratualtions to John Kimble - an amazing photograph and well deserved first place!

I'm just so pleased to see my picture there alongside the winner!

Quite how i am feeling at this very moment.

Today at 4.12am my beautiful daughter Lily Sue Hart was brought into the world weighing 7.7 pounds.

Both mother and baby are doing really well! :dance:

Hi all.

Sorry for my inactivity on here lately. I've had some personal things i needed to work through and unfortunately my photography had to be put on hold.

Thank you all for the :+fav:s :+devwatch: comments and features. I've not had a chance to tackle the monumental task of my inbox yet, but seeing as free time is not really an issue right now, i'll be getting to all the messages real soon.

Has anyone seen any of Microsoft's Project Natal yet??

1000D for £199!!

Just a quick heads up to anyone in or around London.

Tommorrow (17/04/09)
Jessops in New Oxford Street will be selling 5 Canon Eos 1000D's (with 18-55mm IS Lens) for £199!

I believe it's on a first come first served basis, so if you want one better get there early!
They open @ 9am.

I would be there but i'm working and can't really justify spending the money right now! :(

I saw the advert in the Metro newspaper and thought i'd share it!

If anyone does go, good luck.

Hi all,

Sorry i haven't been as active as usual lately. :(
I have got way behind with my message center but i will get to all of the messages soon!

Things have been pretty hectic with work, and i'm battling with a slight world at war addiction too :p
(k/d ratio is up to 1.39 :dance:)

I'm hoping to have some free time this weekend, Hopefully i'll be able to get through my message center and have a chance to look at all of your deviations i have missed!

Oh and our baby is due around the 29th of september! I'm sooooo nervous, but soooo excited! :D

First of all i want to thank you all for the support whilst i have been away. It was really nice checking back here and seeing that my work is still being enjoyed.

I'm not going to bore you all with the details of why i was away. There are good reasons and bad reasons, but i've found my way back and for me that's all that matters.

Now i have the monumental task of clearing my inbox! :D
