This was taken with the Canon 350d and the "kit" 18-55mm lens.
New lenses are on the to-buy list
With practise and patience there is no reason why you couldn't do a shot like this. I only got this camera in Feb of this year, prior to that i was using a compact. I'm still relatively new to photography myself and there is loads i need to learn
